The THORWORX MIG-140 is a professional-grade 4-in-1 multi-process inverter welder built for garage fabricators, hobbyists, and tradespeople who need dual-voltage flexibility without sacrificing arc quality. Built around Fairchild IGBTs from ON Semiconductor and paired with dual 105°C industrial capacitors, the MIG-140 delivers a stable, consistent arc at full rated output — up to 140A on 220V or 130A on 110V — across gas MIG on mild and stainless steel, flux-core wire, stick on plate, and lift TIG on thinner material. Dual-voltage (110V/220V) input means it runs in your garage on a standard circuit or on a job site with 220V, with no compromises.

The ThorSync™ Synergic Control system automatically matches voltage to wire speed. Set your wire feed rate and the machine does the rest. For sheet metal, light structural work, exhaust repair, and projects up to around 6 mm mild steel, the THORWORX MIG-140 is "Forged for Power, Built to Last."
Key Features and Benefits
- 4-in-1 Multi-Process Capability: Supports Gas MIG (GMAW), Flux Core (FCAW), Stick (MMA), and Lift TIG welding in a single machine. Welds mild steel and stainless steel out of the box; aluminum-ready with an optional spool gun (sold separately).
- ThorSync™ Synergic Control: Set your wire speed and the machine automatically matches voltage for clean, dialed-in welds with no trial-and-error.
- Dual-Voltage Input: Operates on both 110V and 220V (50/60 Hz) for maximum flexibility. Delivers up to 130A on 110V and 140A on 220V. Recommended 35A breaker on 110V, 25A on 220V.
- Steps Mode (2T/4T Toggle): 2T mode (hold trigger to weld, release to stop) for short tacks and precision work; 4T mode (press once to lock the arc on) for longer, uninterrupted runs.
- Adjustable Gas Flow: Pre-flow purges air from the torch before the arc strikes; post-flow shields the weld pool as it cools. Both are independently adjustable for cleaner results.
- Pulse Mode: Reduces heat input to weld thin sheet metal without burnthrough or warping, giving you fine control over heat-sensitive materials.
- Upgraded Internals: Fairchild IGBTs from ON Semiconductor, dual 105°C capacitors, and oversized aluminum heat sinks engineered for sustained shop use. Built-in protections cover over-current, over-voltage, over-load, and overheating, with automatic voltage fluctuation compensation and VRD for added operator safety.
- Heavy Gauge. Heavy Duty: 25mm² full copper welding cables minimize resistance and maximize current delivery. 24KD MIG torch with Teflon liner rated above the machine's full output. 400A copper-and-brass ground clamp with grooved jaw. 300A copper electrode holder. Accepts both 1 kg (4-inch) and 5 kg (8-inch) wire spools.
- cETL Listed: Certified to Canadian electrical safety standards per IEC 60974-1, with a rated 60% duty cycle at 140A on 220V.
- Canadian Brand. Canadian Support: Thorworx Industries is based in Niagara Falls, Ontario. We specified every component inside this machine and stand behind it with a 2-year warranty and 3 years of after-sale support from your purchase date. Real people, based in Canada, who answer the phone and respond within 24 hours.
